Role
Job Description
We are developing our own "automatic film processing machines" and "camera-related equipment" to expand the analog photography experience. We are looking for an engineer to quickly proceed with design, assembly, and operation testing.
The work will start with prototyping and improving small automatic film processing machines.
- Design using 3D CAD
- Processing using 3D printers, laser cutters, etc.
- Implementation of control programs using Arduino / STM32, etc.
- Selection and incorporation of motors, pumps, etc.
- Repeated prototyping, experimentation, and improvement

- Experience creating "working devices" using the above.

- Sales and customer service for film cameras
- Inspection, test shooting, packing, shipping arrangements
- Film development, scanning, digitization, delivery
- Photography and video shooting for social media content
- Color correction, simple video editing (mainly CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro as needed)
- Product registration and management, layout adjustment, inquiry handling
- Posting and managing content on Instagram, X, TikTok, etc., responding to comments and DMs
- Proposing operational improvements and automation using ChatGPT, Notion, etc.
- Support for maintenance and repair of film cameras, and assistance with sourcing used cameras

Conditions
Working Conditions and Benefits
- Public holidays are applied for in advance for desired days per week (fixed shifts and variable shifts are both negotiable)
- Store holidays are generally irregular (operating hours may change or store may be closed due to facilities or events)
- If working hours exceed the prescribed time, payment will be made based on company regulations and laws
- No late-night work in principle (not expected after 10 PM)
- Social insurance fully covered / Commuting expenses paid / Salary increase at any time
- Depending on the job, some remote work may be requested.
Note
The higher salary range (~330,000 yen) is for individuals who can independently drive stable operation, maintain quality standards, and promote operational improvements and training across all processes.
