    Ultra-high Resolution, High Tonal Gradation Data ―

    At Natsusomare, we use a world-leading and rare digital dupe scanning method.
    This method reproduces film grain and tonality as data, equivalent to approximately 24 megapixels for 35mm film and up to 100 megapixels for medium format film.     Original color correction ー

    We do not rely on scanners to automatically correct each color. Instead, we use a unique workflow that manually adjusts the color balance while considering the shooting environment, film brand, and exposure tendencies.     Developing Data FAQs

    • The film processing machine currently used at our shop is for "color negative film (C-41 process)" only. We will be able to process black and white, reversal, and large format films soon.
      If any of the following films are mixed in, the developing solution will be contaminated, leading to a serious accident that could damage the machine.

      • Black and white film (excluding C-41 process compatible)
      • Reversal (positive) film
      • Motion picture film (repacked/ECN-2)
      • Overseas film with no process indicated
      • Film repaired with tape

      In the unlikely event that these are mixed in and cause damage to the processing machine, we may charge you for repair costs and business compensation at actual cost.

    • It usually takes 2-3 business days from the arrival of your film. If you're in a hurry, please use Quick Pass.

      For the Degas plan only, due to the dedicated staff taking extra time for the work, the standard turnaround time is approximately one week. (Quick Pass: 3-4 business days)

    • 35mm film is supported. Digitization of developed medium format (120) negatives is currently not supported (we plan to support medium format once the scanner currently under development is complete).
